The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is a five-passenger crossover SUV that's ideal as a family vehicle or for heading on a wilderness adventure. Exterior
The exterior of the Santa Fe has some notable alterations, so you can easily tell apart the 2018 and 2019 model years. For example, the 2019 model year has a new fascia, with slit LED lighting and a four-sided grille. There are contoured, concave tailgate and rear LED taillight elements as well. Because there is no third-row seat, the 2019 Santa Fe is about 5.3 inches shorter than the 2018 model year, which means the 2019 Santa Fe is easier to navigate in tight spots.
Interior
The cabin is very different in the latest Santa Fe, as it comes with a low dashboard, added infotainment tools, and a more spacious cabin. There's also an extra 1.5-inch of rear legroom in the second row, while the folding rear seats make room for about 80 cubic feet of cargo volume. In short, the 2019 Santa Fe seats fewer people than the previous model year, but that just means you get extra space for passengers and cargo.
Technology
Two new standard features on 2019 models is Blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, driver assist technologies that used to cost extra. You can also find an optional forward-collision warning system and automatic emergency braking to bring the Santa Fe to a stop if there's imminent danger. Other features include smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, as well as an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen.
